Carbon Motors Mercedes E500 W124
The latest project of the Bulgarian tuning experts Carbon Motors is based on the Mercedes-Benz E500 W124, a car that was released in 1990. This model is iconic for Mercedes because it was produced in close collaboration with Porsche and was actually hand-built by both brands.
The E500 is driven by a naturally aspirated 5.0L V8 engine that was derived from the 500 SL R129 roadster. The unit produces 322 hp and 480 Nm of torque. Performance tests prove that the E500 achieves 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 260 km/h.
Carbon Motors is an atelier for personalization of automobiles, carbon fiber parts and collector car restorations. They upgrade any interior and convert it to a reflection of each clients needs, adding unique desing and finesse in every car.
Carbon Motors did a complete revolution on the interior, with the seats lined in blue and grey leather combination; the headliner was tailored in blue Alcantara, the pillars in blue leather and the dashboard upholstered in blue leather with grey decorative stitching.
The finishing touch performed by Carbon Motors was, of course, the abundance of carbon fiber bits and pieces added. Now, all the interior trim panels and stripes are in made out of premium carbon fiber, as well as the steering wheel and even the Nokia phone. The pictures speak for themselves when it comes to attention to details, as Carbon Motors managed to bring the old “wolf in sheep’s clothing” to modern standards.
