Lorinser presents a new E-class customisation package

The new Mercedes Benz E-class W213 model has been on the market since April 2016. It is even more beautiful and elegant than before and its modern sporty design will not fail to impress. It is a real gem among the range of standard executive saloon cars that are currently on offer. The designers at Lorinser are once again putting their remarkable expertise and creative flair to use and have devised a customisation package which confers an even more stylish and refined look on this four-door model.

The sophisticated front bumper add-on parts made from carbon fibre alone set the Mercedes E-class apart from standard models and will meet the requirements of those customers who demand a distinctive look. Lorinser also produces bodywork attachments from carbon fibre for the rear end of the vehicle. These attachments are not only impressive aesthetically, the rear wing also provides greater down force on the rear axle. Furthermore, lateral arear bumper add-on parts on the rear bumper stabilise the rear end and allow space for the double tailpipes that are part of the Lorinser sports exhaust system. The aerodynamic package is completed with side skirt attachments to reduce airflow between the axles.

This is a styling package that literally hungers for additional engine power; the technicians at Lorinser have already recorded increases in performance for the 350 CDI and E 43 models during final testing. The installation of the Lorinser electronic module has meant that the 350 d model’s diesel engine can develop an impressive maximum performance of 221 kW at 3,500 rpm. In addition, the torque increases to a powerful 695 nm between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm.

The upgrade for the E 43 is even more impressive. A considerable power performance of 324 kW at 6,100 rpm, ensures that the E-class powered by Lorinser technology is classed in the top division of road-legal saloons. The torque also benefits from these technologies; 600 nm torque between 1,250 and 4,950 revolutions provide an excellent level of thrust and even more driving pleasure.

A large selection of different wheel/tyre combinations provides optimum propulsion. The RS11 one-piece light-alloy wheel is the most recent design to be launched. The forged construction is exceptionally light and the reduced, unsprung weight improves the handling, acceleration, and braking behaviour. The recommended wheel/tyre combination is 9.0Jx21 inches with tyres measuring 255/30 R21 at the front, and 10.5Jx21 inch rims, with tyres measuring 295/25 R21 at the rear.

The light-alloy wheels sit particularly firmly in the wheel arches thanks to the suspension lowering module, which has been specially developed by Lorinser. This allows the height of the vehicle to be raised or lowered according to customer requirements and also automatically adjusts the required headlight alignment.

Subtle interior modifications complete the exclusive Lorinser accessory package, which includes a two-piece aluminium pedal set and a set of car mats with the stylish embroidered Lorinser logo.
