KW lowering springs with individual height adjustment for the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG 4MATIC

Most people opt for their Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG to be equipped with the popular ‘4MATIC’ all-wheel drive. For this application KW introduce height-adjustable spring kits for the Shooting Brake and the Coupé. Unlike traditional spring sets, drivers with KW height adjustable lowering springs are not limited to a fixed lowering level, instead – the level of lowering can be adjusted within a TÜV-tested adjustment range – the result is a fully tuneable stance! At the front axle, the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG 4MATIC models (Type 218) can be lowered individually by up to 40 millimeters and at the rear axle by 35 millimeters.

KW spring sets with height adjustment are installed quickly and easily. In every workshop or at tyre dealers, service technicians can replace the standard springs with KW springs. Along-side the high strength chrome silicon steel lowering springs, a height adjustment platform is also installed. “While regular lowering springs only allow a fixed lowering of 30, 40 or 50 millimeters, the KW coilover springs can be lowered individually” KW Product Manager Johannes Wacker explains. “The driver has the option to drive his car with any level of lowering he likes within the adjustment range. Plus, when changing wheels and tyres, he has the option to adjust the ride height to suit the new setup. With conventional springs this would not be possible.” The KW coilover springs for the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG 4MATIC (Type 218) allow an individual height adjustment in the range between 20 and 40 millimeters at the front axle. The level of lowering at the rear axle is between 15 and 35 millimeters. The height-adjustable KW springs a with German TÜV certificate are also available for the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG 4MATIC.
