Starting from the ground up, the SL-Class has been fitted with PP Exclusive’s Majestic wheel with the front wheels sized 11×20 inch (with 3.5 inch outer rims) and the back wheels are 13×20 inch (5 inch outer rim) fitted with Dunlop tires of sizes 255/30R20 and 305/25R20. The Majestic wheels are available up to 23-inches in size.

The wheel set combined with an electronic module which lowers the suspension by up to 100mm provides a scraping look that’s literally down to earth. As a result, the wheel arches had to be extended with additional sheet metal grafted onto the existing arches to widen them 25 mm up front and 55 mm at the back.

For the exterior the final touch includes a stainless steel exhaust system with catalytic converter and four oval-shaped tailpipes.

Inside, the driver and passenger seats have been finished in white Nappa leather with black stitching. The wood trim of the dashboard have been replaced with matching white pieces while the sun visors and the roof interior have been finished in black Alcantara. The SL steering wheel has been replaced with a smaller unit which has a flat bottom and is finished with Alcantara.

The aerodynamic body kit adds front sports fenders, a front bumper fascia, side skirts, a rear bumper fascia, and a trunk spoiler. The quarter panels also get arch extensions to accommodate the fresh set of 20-inch Renovaito R12 wheels sized 9×20-inches up front and 11×20-inches in the rear.

Twin exhaust pipes and a DTM sports muffler have been added to the car, as well.

For the engine tuning, Inden Design dials up power on the SL 65 AMG’s 6.0 liter twin-turbo V12 engine to 680 PS (500 kW / 671 bhp) from the series’ 612 PS (450 kW / 604 bhp). The V-max lock is also lifted. The tuner also adds Black Sapphire exhaust pipes that deliver a new engine sound.

the tuner offers Inden Champion rims in 11 x 20-inch or 13 x 20-inch dimensions with 265/30R20 and 325/25R20 tires, respectively. An electronic control module for the suspension lowers the ride height by 45 mm.

For the inside, Inden adds a Black Series steering wheel in Alcanatara.

The car will be on display at the Tuning World Bodensee in Friedrichshafen, Germany from May 5 to May 11.

The widebody includes an all new front bumper with lower Carbon Fiber lip spoiler. The larger and more aggressive openings draw in more air to cool the powerful AMG Mercedes. The fenders are wider similar to the SL Black Series and are functional drawing air out from behind the front tires. The hood is an all original design with carbon fiber slats at the top where it is vented. The Side skirts flow smoothly into the new wider rear fender flares. The rear bumper comes with Carbon fiber gills and a carbon fiber diffuser that helps channel the air and to increase downforce. The rear Trunk spoiler is also designed to increase the downforce.

This kit is made for all SL Mercedes 2003-Present. The kit is a direct bolt on for the 2009 and newer models. This kit also allows you to convert your pre 2009 SL to the new facelifted 2009 and newer SL Mercedes. The kit includes everything your will need except for the headlights and center grill.

Wheelsandmore have increased power from 612hp and 1000 Nm of torque up to 697 hp and 1150 Nm by upgrading the electronic control unit and combined within a special exhaust system. All handmade exhaust systems come with remote valve controls.

Additional extrtas include 3-piece forged wheels 6Sporz in 10,0×20” at the front and 12,0×20 at the rear. The lightweight rims are equipped with high performance tyres from Dunlop in 255/30/20 front and 305/25/20 rear.

The suspension can be upgraded to include an electronic lowering module “LowMaXX”. This allows an individual setup by maintaining serial settings and raises the car around 45mm.

The productionquality of the body components and their fitting accuracy are here excellent. To the body equipment belongs a front spoiler bumper, which slides perfectly along the body and which supports the look again. Thus not yet enough: there are fenders with ventilation openings, a complete hood with air intakes, sidesmolder-learn, to examine a tail apron with diffuser, a tailspoiler as well as rear widenings.

The body kit has a value of 19.900 euro for additional 3,500 euros you can get a hood, for 800 euros the tail diffuser in carbon and for 999 euros a front Flap of PE in addition.

The assembly of the body parts and the various adjustment work is separately calculated with 8,000 euros and the lacquer finish inclusive putty work with 7,500 euros.

Thus INDEN Design proves the experience in the body area again and successfully uses the know-how.

Now the SL goes into a new round, because after the vehicle was outwardly revised, also new for example the sharpened wheel set.

A further important contribution to the exclusive optics and performance makes the multipart Black Saphire light alloy wheels (13,200 euros inclusive sport tires) in 20 inch.

These were installed in the quantity 11×20 inch and 13×20 inch with 275/30 R20 and 325/25 R20 high speed tire of Dunlop.

So that the driver can also use the required potential, a modified controlling (1,550 euros inclusive installation) of the ABC chassis makes a sinking for the body possible.

Starting from 70km/h the chassis will be raised around 20mm for improvement of comfort and values of axlegeometry.

The full package is completed with a back driving camera (900 euros), day driving lights (420 euros) and suitable Black Saphire high-grade steel exhaust embellishers (1,200 euros).

When desired an increase in output on 560 HP and 670Nm can be accomplished with INDEN Design. As another extra INDEN Design worries also around the adornment of the interior.

For an adequate environment to feel good in the interior provides individual leather equipment, exclusive accessories for the cockpit and when desired also a Multimedia system.

The V8 M273 engines in the SL 550 are technically advanced and quite powerful. In standard form, the 5.5-liter V8 produces 382 HP (284KW) at 6000rpm and 529NM between 2800 and 4800rpm. Compared to similar models from other manufacturers, it is a reasonably nimble performance oriented roadster.

Working together with Kleemann, RENM performance has created the ‘M-Max’, which releases considerably more power and performance for this model. The flexibility of the programme is designed to fit individual needs and purposes, so all tuning components can be used individually, or in predetermined sets.

The tuning programme for the SL 550 M-Max consists of an ECU re-calibration, hi-flow air filters, revised stainless steel exhaust headers and down pipes, sports catalytic converters and sports camshafts, delivering up to 460 HP (343 KW) and 630 Nm. This results in a significant improvement in overall performance, with 0-60mp/h times being reduced from 5.3 sec to 4.6 sec.

The visual changes reflect RENM design philosophy which is characterised by an ‘understated subtle aggressiveness’. This design objective is aimed at achieving integrated, balanced performance combined with visual understatement. The RENM M-Max achieves this objective successfully, and when combined with the matching M-Max light weight forged wheels, completely transforms the SL 550 to a new level of performance.

SL maximum – the PD-SERIES

Right in time for the industry trade fair Tuning World Bodensee, PRIOR design presented their latest creation – the PD-SERIES based on the Mercedes-Benz SL R230.

The self-set target of the Kamp-Lintfort company was making the “large” Mercedes-Benz roadster even more perfect. The PD-SERIES inspiration very clearly was the super sports car Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series. The result will excite every car enthusiast: Flowing lines, expressive curves, massive air inlets and muscular sides summarize the perfect PD-SERIES view.

Let us look at it in detail, starting with the front. This is where the superior width of the PD-SERIES hardly makes it possible for the viewer to avert his eyes from the overwhelming fenders. Still getting over the endorphin-filled moment surprise, the eye takes I the harmonious line flowing from the fender to the front area. Only few centimetres below the futuristic Facelift headlights, there is a front spoiler with large, greedy air inlets. The cowl with its many air inlets reaches up to the windshield supplying even high-performance motors with sufficient air.

The side area with its wide wheels is reminiscent of a muscular monster waiting to jump its prey. The side dills harmoniously connect the masculine sides to make the car look as if made from a single cast.

Going father around the vehicle, we can then see the rear, dominant due to the imposing wheel arches that make the SL seem impossibly wide. The large track of the PD-SERIES is connected by a perfectly rounded rear bumper from one wheel arch to the other, which in turn is equipped with a diffuser based on racing technology. It is available either as sight carbon or full carbon.

A specially developed wheel/tyre combination is available as a complete set in the following sizes:
Wheel rim PD1 (three-piece stainless steel outer bed, black finish), front axle 10×20 inch with 265/30R20, rear axle 12×20 inch with 305/25R20

Finally, Prior-Design makes it possible to lower the car mechanically as well as electronically (with integrated Airmatic). Using the above wheel/tyre combination, Prior-Design also recommends optimising the suspension tuning.
