Definite proof of the sportive claim of the German manufacturer, who is also recognised by the German Federal Bureau of Motor Vehicles, is the increased performance. The 12-cylinder bi-turbo of the top version in the S 600 L now impresses with 600 hp (441kW) instead of the standard 517 hp (380 kW). Its maximum torque is electronically limited to 1024 Newton metres. This increase in power is the result of an optimised engine management approach together with the sports air filter and the sport exhaust system.

The tremendous accelerating power brings the Carlsson S-Class in 4.3 seconds from 0 to 100 kph (series: 4.6 seconds) up to the top speed, which is limited to 320 kph. This performance gain is the result of lavish test cycles and many years of experience with the engine of the manufacturer from Stuttgart. The performance enhancement including the sport exhaust system is available for the S 600 L for 4997 Euro including all applicable taxes.

Further performance enhancements are available for 6-, 8-, and 12-cylinder engines as well as for Diesel engines. The top model based on the S 63 AMG allows up to 685 hp (504 kW).

The supportive measures for the engine’s performance is accompanied by the aerodynamic package RS consisting of components, which fulfil the highest standards. The front apron and the front spoiler lip not only offer a sporty appearance but also generate additional downforce, which results in an increased tread pressure and therefore more road adhension. Meanwhile the front sparkles with its elegant Carlsson logo on the bonnet and its characteristic grille inserts made of electro-polished stainless steel. The side of the Mercedes appears more dynamic and powerful thanks to the new set of side skirts for the model with long wheelbase.

Four additional headlight (fog lights and high beams) as well as vertically integrated LED daytime running lights ensure for safety on the road by day and night. The rear of the S-Class is completed with its rear apron, crowned with a sporty rear spoiler.

The visual promise of the new aerodynamic package is kept by the intelligent lowering kit, Carlsson C-Tronic SUSPENSION for vehicles with AIRMATIC or ABC suspension system. Thanks to its data link the system communicates with the on-board electronics and detects within milliseconds the road condition and the driver’s personal handling of the vehicle. The system lowers the car by up to 30 millimetres and adjusts the suspension according to the detected parameters in order to maintain an optimum cornering performance, while at the same time providing the highest degree of comfort. The C-Tronic is available for only 1178 Euro and outperforms even the Active Body Control suspension system by Mercedes-Benz.

High-performance tyres from Dunlop (255/35 front and 275/35 ZR 20 rear) provide contact with the road and cover the elegant 20 inch light alloy wheels 1/10 Brilliant Edition (complete wheel set in 19 inch already available from 3583 Euro).

The refinement of the interior promises a high degree of luxury. Exactly according to customer requirement, the in-house upholsterer at Gut Wiesenhof transform the cockpit to fulfil individual wishes just like ordering a tailored suit. The basic package for 5290 Euro includes leather on both front seats, the rear seat bench including all head rests and all four door panels. The customer chooses the colour of the leather , the stitching, and the piping at no extra cost. The Carlsson logo is embossed into the headrests and can be found as a blue illuminated signature in the door sill. The logo also emphases the refinement on the aluminium pedals and footrest.

The experienced upholsterers provide the pigmented leather, which offers the haptics of a fine leather glove, for the dashboard, the steering wheel and the middle arm rest as an option.

With the improvement of the S Class Carlsson emphasises again its authority in the refinement of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The flagship of the Stuttgart product line is being refined at Gut Wiesenhof in all aspects: sportiness, exclusivity and luxury.

Twelve-cylinder high-capacity engines in the S-Class look back on almost two decades of tradition at BRABUS. Powered by the SV12 R Biturbo 800 engine originally developed for the BRABUS E V12 “one of ten” the automotive luxury class now attains a new level of performance.

Displacement of the V12 engine that normally powers the latest Mercedes 600 models is increased from 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 385 cu. in.) The displacement increase is the product of a special crankshaft with longer stroke, precision-balanced piston rods, larger-diameter pistons and corresponding larger cylinder bore. The inner workings of the BRABUS engine are modified further by high-performance camshafts and flow-optimized cylinder heads.

The new air intake was custom-developed to fit in the available space under the hood of the S-Class. The combustion air is routed through a special carbon-fiber system. Also newly developed was the BRABUS Biturbo system with two special high-performance manifolds with integrated turbine housings and high-performance turbochargers. The system also includes four water-to-air intercoolers. The BRABUS stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with sport catalysts and four exhaust tips with BRABUS-characteristic design optimizes power yield and gives the engine a more dominant exhaust note.

Newly calibrated engine electronics with precision-programmed mapping for injection and ignition ensure exemplary power yield and compliance with strict EURO V emission limits. The high-tech lubricants for the entire powertrain are supplied by technology partner ARAL.

The SV12 R Biturbo 800 engine produces 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW at 5,500 rpm and an even more impressive peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft), available from a low 2,100 rpm. For technical reasons peak torque is limited electronically to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft). Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a reinforced five-speed automatic transmission. A BRABUS high-performance limited-slip differential with a locking rate of 40 percent is available as an option.

The BRABUS SV12 R Biturbo 800 has acceleration times of 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) 3.9 seconds and 10.3 seconds to 200 km/h (124 mph) and is electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).To ensure that this level of performance can be enjoyed safely at all times BRABUS also significantly upgrades suspension, brakes and aerodynamics.

The SV12 R Biturbo 800 can be equipped with BRABUS Monoblock wheels with diameters ranging from 19 to 21 inches. The largest version features wheels in size 9Jx21 on the front axle and in size 10.5Jx21 in the rear. These wheels are available in four distinct designs: Three-piece forged and high-gloss polished BRABUS Monoblock VI wheels with six double spokes, multi-spoke Monoblock E wheels, Monoblock S wheels with double-spoke design and especially exclusive Monoblock F PLATINUM EDITION forged wheels with cross-spoke design. All wheels are mounted with Pirelli or YOKOHAMA tires in sizes 265/30 ZR 21 in front and 295/30 ZR 21 on the rear axle.

Maximum deceleration is even more important than exceptional acceleration so the BRABUS high-performance brake system is part of the high-tech package of the SV12 R Biturbo 800. The brake features 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 380 x 36-mm (15.0 x 1.42 inches) vented and cross-drilled discs in front, and 355 x 28-mm (14.0 x 1.1 inches) discs and six-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the rear axle.

For an even more extravagant appearance of the sedan BRABUS offers custom-tailored aluminum front fenders that replace their production counterparts. The exclusive character of these fenders is embodied by an integrated air vent made from clear-coated carbon fiber and a horizontal brace that spans the vent with embossed BRABUS signet and integrated LED lights. The latter are activated just like the ones in the BRABUS side sills via the keyless remote or by pulling on a door handle.

For optimizing the airflow around the sides of the vehicle the designers sculpted BRABUS sill skirts that feature integrated entrance lights for added utility. They are activated by the keyless remote or by pulling on a door handle as are the blue-illuminated BRABUS logos integrated into the scuff plates on both sides of the vehicle.

The BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement concept is rounded out by the BRABUS rear spoiler lip, also available in a clear-coated carbon-fiber version, and the new rear fascia with centrally located reflector and custom cutouts for the BRABUS quad sport exhaust system. The underside of the rear fascia also features integrated LED lights which illuminate the ground behind the vehicle.

BRABUS combines exclusive interior options that suit each customer’s personal taste. These options include fully leather interiors in any color, Alcantara supplements and exclusive wood trim sets which can be ordered in any desired color.

The BRABUS “iBusiness” stands for more than just peak performance. It stands foremost for innovative multimedia technology for which the BRABUS electronics specialists integrate state-of-the-art Apple components into the vehicle electronics of a Mercedes for the very first time. The BRABUS upholstery shop creates the perfect luxurious surroundings. The elegant fully leather interior is masterfully crafted from a two-tone combination of high-quality BRABUS leather that is especially soft, breathable and highly durable.

At the heart of the “iBusiness” is state-of-the-art entertainment and communication technology on wheels. The centerpiece of the system is an ultra-small Mac minicomputer safely housed under the rear shelf in an electrically deployed drawer whose design mirrors the design of the computer itself.

A 15.2-inch TFT display with 16:9 aspect ratio is integrated into the headliner covered with the finest Alcantara and contrasted with leather. Together with the standard screens in the back of the front headrests it serves as a display for the multimedia system. USB 2.0 ports integrated into the rear compartment allow connecting various peripherals to the Mac such as a webcam for video conferencing or a digital camera. The “iBusiness” is connected to the Internet via UMTS and HSDPA.

The entire BRABUS multimedia system is controlled from the passenger seat or the rear compartment by two iPads that also control the car’s standard COMAND system with all functions such as radio, navigation system and telephone.

While on the move the two tablet computers and the Bluetooth keyboard can be safely secured in precisely fitting recesses in the luxurious BRABUS rear tables. The table tops are covered with the same exclusive leather as the entire interior and are bordered by high-gloss aluminum frames. The tables are electrically deployed from special BRABUS seatback consoles and are infinitely adjustable to any angle. They offer ample space for perusing documents, the Apple mouse and keyboard.

When the iPads are not in use or when the “iBusiness” is parked they can be stored securely and hidden from sight in custom-tailored compartments in the BRABUS center console. A special BRABUS app will be available shortly for iPad and iPhone, the latter of which is also part of the standard equipment of the luxury sedan.

The music comes from a 64GB Apple iPod touch that can store more than 14,000 songs. The sound is reproduced either by the sound system of the S-Class or by Sennheiser Noise Gard headphones, which filter out any unwanted ambient noise for unparalleled listening pleasure.

Power-operated curtains provide privacy for the rear passengers and together with an innovative color-changing interior lighting system create a serene atmosphere. The BRABUS fully leather interior creates an exclusive ambiance further augmented by the new BRABUS Yachting wood trim package. It lends the interior of the luxury sedan a maritime feel that is reminiscent of classic Italian sport boats. All wood trim elements of the S-Class are painstakingly created by hand from hundreds of individual pieces and have the look and feel of a miniature ship veneer. The wood inlays have a high-gloss finish and meet the latest automotive quality and safety guidelines.

Scuff plates with illuminated BRABUS logo, an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel and anodized aluminum pedals add further individual highlights.

The BRABUS “iBusiness” is also the world’s most powerful luxury sedan and the fastest office on wheels. This unique automobile is powered by a BRABUS SV12 R Biturbo 750 engine, a prime example for the proven fact that there is no substitute for displacement except more displacement. A special crankshaft with longer stroke, forged pistons with larger diameter and increased cylinder bore bump displacement from standard 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 385 cu. in.). In addition the inlet and outlet ports of both cylinder heads are optimized for improved mixture flow. Four special camshafts also contribute to that same effect.

The BRABUS “iBusiness” is built to order and can be combined with any engine variant from the S 350 to the S 65. Alternatively any existing current S-Class model can be equipped with the innovative multimedia system and all other BRABUS options.

Their high-end products are designed specifically with the more discerning Mercedes Benz customer in mind. The Monster is a S550 car build specially for a customer from Dortmund.

The basis is a S Class with AMG S65 bodykit. MEC desing also fitted the new mecxtremeIII three piece wheels with flat bed in satin Edition (Also available in black matt and other colours). Dimensions are 11×20 (4,5 outer lip) and 12,5×20 (5,5 outer lip!), Tires 295+325, spacers front 12mm.

The suspension receives an ELS Lowering Module that is capable of less 65mm, for more comfort whilst driving on the freeway, with custom programming. So the vehicle lifts itself for comfortable trips on the freeway up 10mm from a speed of 100km/h. This option is freely selectable (for example from 120km/h um 20mm and so on).

The 4 pipe stainless steel exhaust system, is new from the cat and provides the usual extreme deep sound. The W221 receives also a new MEC Design Steering wheel and MEC Design floor mats with leather edging!

Already when defining the design, Lorinser perfectly adjusts the individual components of the aerodynamics set. The front with the newly designed spoiler bumper complements with the rear skirt, the roof spoiler and the rear lip in a harmonious way. Discreet side skirts are the visual connection between the front and rear part of the car. In addition to the dynamic look, Lorinser offers powerful performance increase for the six-, eight- and twelve cylinder engines. By applying the Lorinser Diesel Module to the S 350 CDI, renders an additional output of 22 kW / 30 hp. For the twelve-cylinder top model, the Mercedes-specialist developed the performance kit LV 12 Biturbo. A newly programmed control unit, modified turbo charging and fuel injection as well as an optimized exhaust system with sports exhaust increase the engine performance of the S-Class by approximately 81 kW / 110 hp compared to the original power values. As the limitation of the top speed has been removed, the car now achieves 330 km/h instead of formerly 250 km/h.

A wide-ranging selection of wheel/tire combinations renders perfect grip. One of the highlights of the rim program is the polished 22 inch aluminum wheel type RS9. The modern style of the mono-block design reflects in the five slotted triple spokes. Precisely milled surfaces and modern processing techniques guarantee highest bearing loads at a low weight. The maximum dimension offered by Lorinser is a light-alloy wheel in the dimension 10×22 ET35 with 275/25ZR22 tires at the front axle and 10×22 ET40 with 295/25ZR22 tires at the back axle.

The MEC Design S-Class bodykit is a 2face system which allows the customer the choice of having the front bumper with driving lights and fog lights or with just mesh. At the rear the customer can also choose between having the sporty looking diffusor or to go with the more refined elegant diffusor. The side skirts continue the beautiful lines and are available with or without LED lighting (5 per side) which is linked up to the internal lighting. The spoiler on the rear trunklid rounds off the rear end nicely.

The MEC Design sports exhaust system is manufactured from mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing, stainless steel resonator and muffler. The sounds that it produces are pretty amazing; the featured version is called “Earthquake” although it is available in a quieter version. The delicately placed embossed MEC Design logo on the quad oval chrome tips are the perfect finishing touch.

The interior features the MEC Design sports multi-functional airbag steering wheel. The distinctive ergonomically designed handles and its precious wood inlay and leather make it a pleasure to grip. However, what is usually achieved on most cars with a few new springs or shock-absorbers, presents tuners of high-tech limousines such as the S-Class W221 with tough challenges, because air-ride suspension or the electro-hydraulic steel suspension ABC (Active Body Control) with automatic roll correction is applied as standard. Lorinser made its name as an innovator and offers a lowering for this luxury car using control rods for the level sensors. This is not just cheaper than the normal solution using a processer-controller extra module, but also offers technical advantages.

In this way you protect the car’s electronics from sensitive intervention, which could otherwise lead to software conflicts, particularly in interaction with “chipped” engines. A TÜV assessment is, of course, enclosed with the lower suspension set from Winnenden alongside extensive assembly instructions. The chassis lowering achievable with the Lorinser solution amounts to approx. 30 millimetres and can be disassembled at any time without a problem, for example if the car is to be sold. As the characteristics of the existing shock absorbers / springs / air spring elements remain the same, reductions in comfort need not be feared. Thedriving dynamics increase considerably, however, which reveals itself when the driver takes corners at high speeds. A result which is more than worthy of a Mercedes – and of course from Sportservice Lorinser.
