The new aerodynamics package RS, honed to perfection in the wind tunnel, forms the basis of the special edition for the Chinese market and allows the Carlsson CGL45 to express its characteristic style. The widened wheel arches emphasise its markedly sporty presence. The front spoiler and the chrome-finished radiator grille with the Carlsson horse underline its dominating presence. The LED daytime running lights in the front spoiler lip cleverly round off the Carlsson CGL45 lighting concept – these can equally be used as position lights at night. The rear view is defined by the new rear skirt which leaves room for the four oval stainless steel exhaust pipes of the sport rear silencer. All Carlsson accessories are manufactured of high quality PUR-Rim and impress users with their fitting accuracy and paintability.</p>
<p>Carlsson also improves the manoeuvrability of this large SUV with the intelligent lowering C-Tronic® SUSPENSION. This lowers the vehicle by 30 millimetres and thus achieves a lower centre of gravity while also reducing rolling and pitching. In addition, thanks to being connected to the basic vehicle&#8217;s data communication system, the C-Tronic® recognises the road surface condition and adjusts residual spring travel in milliseconds to suit. This way the intelligent lowering assures both sporty cornering, as well as optimum driving comfort on bad roads.</p>
<p>The 22-inch wheel set 1/5 Evo Brilliant Edition was specially developed for the GL. The one-piece light alloy wheel impresses not only with its high load capacity and low weight but also an elegant design. This way a wheel has been created which promotes liveliness with a minimum of unsprung mass, and at the same time offers the highest level of stability. With its five spokes and groove, the 1/5 Evo Brilliant Edition manages to radiate elegance. The light alloy wheels are shod with Vredestein high-performance 305/35 ZR22 tyres.</p>

<p>The Carlsson CGL45 interior receives the Chinese customer with the illuminated Carlsson lettering on the door sills, embossed Carlsson logos on the headrests,  Carlsson door pins as well as aluminium pedals with footrest. In addition, each vehicle is equipped with a signed plaque in the centre console, bearing a consecutive serial number and a signature of Carlsson CEO Markus Schuster.</p>
<p>After its transformation at Gut Wiesenhof the large Mercedes-Benz GL has become more agile, more dynamic and more luxurious. Thus, the Carlsson CGL45 special edition for the Chinese market makes a statement of self-confident individuality.</p>

For decades the Mercedes-Benz G-class has been an automobile status symbol with exceptional cross country qualities. However, drivers and passengers have always objected to the driving characteristics on tarmac roads being too firm. MANSORY embraced this problem and developed a suspension which is electronically adjustable from the cockpit, with two different characteristic shock absorber curves. After fitting, the shock absorbers can be readjusted from the interior of the car for use on tough terrain or for a comfortable drive on metalled roads.</p>
<p>Extra large gas reservoirs, made from high tensile hard anodised aluminium, ensure that the pressure remains constant even at operating temperatures of over 150 °C. The system, completely developed and manufactured in Germany, further features a 22 millimetre stainless steel piston rod and damper oil specifically suited to the high demands.</p>
<p>MANSORY offers the system that is completely built by hand for all variants of the Mercedes-Benz G-class, complete for a price of 7,750 EUR net.</p>

Many owners of a Mercedes G-Class long for a smoother ride without compromising the high level of driving safety: The new innovative push-button Ride Control Suspension from BRABUS combines exceptional ride comfort with sporty handling and ample safety reserves.</p>
<p>The custom BRABUS Ride Control Suspension comprises newly developed gas-pressure shocks for front and rear axle that replace the production components. An elegant aluminum control switch, stylishly integrated into the center console in front of the shifter, lets drivers choose between ‘extra comfortable&#8217; and ‘sporty comfortable&#8217; damper settings.</p>
<p>The BRABUS Ride Control controller commands the electronically controlled valves in each shock absorber to switch to the selected mode and thus to dampen softer or firmer. Switching damper rates takes just five milliseconds and can be done while the vehicle is moving.</p>
<p>Upon engine start the system automatically pre-selects the last active setting prior to engine stop. The sport mode is indicated by a blue-illuminated selector switch.</p>
<p>The advantages of the innovative BRABUS suspension concept for the G-Class are apparent: In normal driving mode it provides notably higher ride comfort than the production car, which is especially beneficial at low speeds as well as on rough roads or in terrain. At higher speeds selecting the firmer sport damper settings offer more dynamic handling and further increased safety reserves.</p>
<p>The BRABUS Ride Control custom suspension is available for all Mercedes G-Class models regardless of body style from the G 350 CDI to the G 500 (US G550) and the G 55 AMG.</p>

More power and fun of ride has VAETH for the rare G55 AMG model. A G-class model with 680 hp and 840 Nm! Is it possible? VAETH AUTOMOBILTECHNIK has made G55, a model of an absolute force. The G-class model charms with its edged lines and its sports and athletic appearance. Also in this case, the VAETH AUTOMOBILTECHNIK creators have implemented a lot of new ideas. </p>
<p>Besides the fine tuning, the engine reconstruction comprehends an intake manifold, a complete outlet system, coolers, as well as the patented VAETH fuel cooler, all that let the hp monster reach the 265 km/h mark!</p>
<p>Attention is drawn especially to the modifications of the front section. The bonnet and the front spoiler with extra big air intakes, LED daylight lamps and Xenon units in the fog-lights contribute to a sportive, eye-catching design of a strong V58k G-class model. The rear looks bulky and forms together with the sports exhaust system visible on both sides a perfect symbiosis. Sports appearance created by the VAETH is powered additionally by the complete &#8220;Race Edition&#8221; foliation.</p>
<p>Fully lowered by 35 mm, the G-class model together with its sports shock absorbers grant you a real feeling. The extravagant VAETH light metal rims in 10&#215;22&#8221; with 295/35R22 Yokohama ADV ST air tires underline the sportive power packet once more.</p>
<p>The interior is decorated by carbon applications, there is a speedometer reaching up to 330 km/h, an Alcantara covered sports steering wheel and everything is covered by the leather. The multimedia system tops the ensemble.</p>
<p>In order to stop the hp monster at one time or another, VAETH has equipped it by a sports braking system with 390 mm sports brake disks.</p>

<p>The 4&#215;4 SUV is powered by a BRABUS B63 Biturbo 6.3-liter V8 engine with 650 hp (641 bhp) / 478 kW and reaches a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). Visually the SUV sets itself apart with the stunningly styled BRABUS WIDESTAR version and forged 23-inch wheels. Also part of the standard equipment of the BRABUS GL63 Biturbo is an exclusive interior with leather and Alcantara. The GL 63 Biturbo is built in small-series production and starts at 368,000 Euros MSRP.</p>
<p>BRABUS fits the high-speed eight-cylinder four-valve engine from the ML63 AMG with a twin turbo system and implants it into the largest Mercedes SUV. By doing so the luxury manufacturer from Bottrop elevates the GL 63 to a new performance dimension.</p>
<p>The twin turbo system is yet another high-tech development so typical for BRABUS. The BRABUS engineers have developed special cast exhaust manifolds with integrated turbine housings and bypass valves for the V8 engine. For faster response the turbochargers were sized relatively small and both manifolds were designed to only use the exhaust gases from three of the four cylinders on each side for driving the turbochargers.</p>
<p>The turbochargers themselves are also a custom BRABUS development. Normally V-type engines are fitted with two right-turning chargers. That results in a slower response on the right side of the engine because the intake on the right side of the turbine housing necessitates a more complicated exhaust routing than on the left side of the engine. To solve this problem the BRABUS engineers designed a left-turning turbocharger for the right cylinder bank of the engine and thus achieved perfect exhaust-gas dynamics.</p>
<p>The twin turbo system also includes a generously dimensioned water-to-air intercooler as well as a dual intake manifold with cast-in BRABUS Biturbo logos and sport air filters. High-performance catalysts behind the turbochargers reduce back pressure and further lower exhaust emissions.</p>
<p>The inner workings of the engine are adapted to turbocharging with BRABUS forged pistons that reduce the compression ratio to 9.0:1. Newly programmed engine electronics with custom mapping for ignition and injection adapted to the turbo technology and an electronic boost pressure management system play a key role. Together they ensure not only maximum power yield but also clean emissions in accordance with the EURO IV emission standards. Like all BRABUS engines the B63 Biturbo is lubricated exclusively with synthetic ARAL high-performance motor oil.</p>
<p>This engine establishes the BRABUS GL 63 Biturbo among the world&#8217;s most powerful SUVs. The engine has a rated power output of 650 hp (641 bhp) / 478 kW at a low 6,200 rpm. The maximum torque of 850 Nm (626 lb-ft) is available on a plateau between 3,000 and 5,500 rpm.</p>
<p>In combination with a modified SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic transmission and permanent four-wheel drive this engine delivers performance previously unimaginable for a vehicle of this type: The BRABUS GL63 Biturbo accelerates from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.7 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).</p>
<p>Naturally the vehicle&#8217;s aerodynamic properties, tires, suspension and brakes are all adapted to this enormous performance potential.</p>
<p>The BRABUS WIDESTAR version with its elegantly contoured fender flares adds six centimeters (2.4 inches) to the width of the GL 63 Biturbo. The WIDESTAR front apron was shaped in the wind tunnel to reduce aerodynamic lift on the front axle thus maximizing directional stability at high speed. Generously sized air inlets provide the engine and the front brakes with as much cooling air as possible. For further increased active safety the BRABUS front features LED daytime running lights and four auxiliary headlamps.</p>
<p>BRABUS rocker panels create an aerodynamically smooth transition between the fender flares on front and rear axle. Integrated entrance lights facilitate entering and exiting the vehicle in the dark.</p>
<p>The vehicle&#8217;s aerodynamics are further optimized by a roof spoiler and the BRABUS rear apron with integrated diffuser. The apron is custom-tailored to fit the wider fenders and in addition to cutouts for the tailpipes of the BRABUS stainless-steel quad sport exhaust system features integrated underfloor lights.</p>
<p>The large wheel houses offer plenty of room for three-piece BRABUS Monoblock E PLATINUM EDITION 11Jx23 wheels. These nine-spoke wheels have a forged and high-gloss-polished drop center and can be fitted with Pirelli or YOKOHAMA high-performance tires up to size 305/30 R 23.</p>
<p>The BRABUS GL 63 Biturbo can also be equipped with forged 21-inch Monoblock VI or F wheels or with 22-inch Monoblock VI, E, Q or S and new BRABUS Monoblock G PLATINUM EDITION forged wheels.</p>
<p>The ride height of the high performance car is lowered by some 30 millimeters (1.2 inches) with the BRABUS suspension tuning module for the AIRMATIC air suspension. This measure not only benefits the looks of the GL. The lowered center of gravity also results in even sportier and safer on-road handling.</p>
<p>To further optimize active safety the SUV is equipped with a BRABUS high-performance brake system. The version for the GL 63 Biturbo features 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers and vented and cross-drilled 380 x 36 millimeter (15.0 x 1.4 inches) discs on the front axle. The rear axle stops on 355 x 28 mm (14.0 x 1.1 inches) brake discs and six-piston fixed calipers.</p>
<p>The luxury equipment of the BRABUS GL 63 Biturbo also includes a premium interior. The interior is custom-tailored to customer specifications from a combination of especially soft and breathable Mastik leather and Alcantara.</p>
<p>BRABUS precious-wood and carbon-fiber inlays are available in a variety of versions and are color-coordinated with the leather. The sporty character of the vehicle is reflected by the speedometer with 320-km/h (200-mph) scale, aluminum components such as pedals and door-lock pins and an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel.</p>
<p>Special consoles for the backs of the front seats each have an integrated seven-inch LCD screen, a DVD player and a folding table. They transform the rear passenger compartment into a multimedia studio. The entertainment equipment can be further expanded into a fully functional office on wheels with state-of-the-art communication and computer technology.</p>

<p>As a result the traditional tuner from Winnenden has worked on all the corners and edges, in order to create an exclusive piece of work with incomparable brilliance out of the SUV. As a special optical highlight, the Lorinser front spoiler reflects the radiator grille of the GLK on the horizontal axis and thereby provides an expressive front design. The dark recessed insert is flanked on the left and right by the fog lights.</p>
<p>While precious stones loose volume through polishing, the GLK actually gains substance due to the work of Lorinser. The ribbed side sills in particular provide the 170kW / 231 HP strong SUV with more volume, and thanks to the Lorinser lowering set it hugs the tarmac in a bold sporty manner. The rear view of the four-wheeler is presented as a perfect piece of jewellery and appears to be made of incomparable fire. The Lorinser rear apron with the pronounced indentations definitely flirts with a degree of martiality – an impression which the dark insert with the sports grille and implied underride guard further intensify. On its flanks it sports a pair of sonorous double-pipes of the Lorinser stainless steel exhaust unit. In connection with the smooth six-cylinder engine under the bonnet the compact SUV thereby also proves to be an acoustic jewel. Real high-carats are, of course, not missing in the wheel arches: with their special varnish – matt black combined with a polishe d rim flange – the huge 9 x 22 inch Lorinser RS 9 light-alloy wheels provide real highlights. They are enclosed by the 265 millimetre wide Yokohama tyres. The contrast with the red outer colour of the vehicle is increased by the dark recessed wheel arches. With it the designers have succeeded in creating a real piece of jewellery, which constantly attracts attention to its owner.</p>

<p>Already since 1986, the Laupheim-based company develops and manufactures products for individualising exclusive automobiles. The HAMANN technicians thereby profit from hundreds of successful participations in motor sports. The know-how which was gained there is the basis for development of HAMANN products and guarantees the highest level of product quality and production. The result: Stainless steel exhaust systems with a sporty and earthy sound, powerful performance enhancements, lifting-force reducing aerodynamics components and striking light alloy rims from 20 to 24 inches. The accessory assortment includes perfectly lined interior equipments in combination with colour-coordinated floor mats and non-slip aluminium pedals. </p>
<p>Already during the designing phase, HAMANN perfectly adjusts the individual components of the aerodynamic kit to the striking car body shape of the automobile. This results in an exciting styling with an optimised air flow over the car silhouette. Two integrated LED daytime running lights are integrated in the front spoiler and render a sporty and dynamic look and increase the passive safety at the same time. At the same time the lifting forces of the 5-door car are reduced in connection with the roof spoiler. Powerful fender extensions broaden the G-model by 40 millimetres at the front axle and 60 millimetres at the back axle. </p>
<p>The newly designed rear skirt with the integrated diffuser perfects the attractive overall appearance of the car body. If desired, air inlets for the bonnet and a 13-part exterior set made of carbon fibre (radiator grill, headlight protective grid, mirror cases, door handles, air inlets in the side wings, bonnet air blind) set further visual highlights </p>
<p>In addition to the exciting look of the aerodynamics look, the HAMANN engine department developed two powerful performance enhancements for the 5.4 litre motor. The customer can select an engine operating map with 35 hp / 25 kW additional output while the maximum torque increases to 100 Newton metres. The maximum power enhancement results after adding the performance kit HM 600 with breathtaking 600 hp / 441 kW (serial value: 507 hp / 373 kW) and an impressive torque of 782 Nm at 3,000 – 5,200 r.p.m. The extensive engine modification includes an amended motor electronic with annulations, a belt pulley kit, metal catalysts, 6-pipe sport end silencers, gear oil cooling system and an optimised gear control. </p>
<p>The modifications lead to an acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in only 5.1 seconds and the 4-wheel car achieves a maximum speed of 261 km/h (serial value: 210 km/h).  </p>
<p>One of the technical highlights and maximum dimension in the available rim programme is the three-part HAMANN aluminium wheel called DESIGN EDITION RACE “ANODIZED“ 24“. Characteristic for the modern style of the ultra-light forged wheel is the black rim star and the titanium bolting. The ultra gloss polished rim flange emphasised the noble appearance. HAMANN offers the 24-inch wheel in the dimension 10,5J with tyres measuring 315/35 R 24. </p>
<p>In addition to the existing serially offered interior equipment, HAMANN presents accessories made of fine aluminium. The pedals and foot rests render motor sports atmosphere and perfectly go with the 24-part interior set made of carbon fibre. Door sill ledges made of brushed stainless steel with blue lights are adorned with the HAMANN logo as well as the embroidered  HAMANN floor mat set perfect the overall look of the noble interior. The ergonomically re-designed airbag steering wheel in 4-spoke design is both sporty and lies very well in the hand. If desired, everything up to the entire leather equipment can be manufactured in artisan precision. </p>

<p>The wheel 1/5 Evo Ultra Light in the dimension 10&#215;22 inches tackles an astonishing 1,100-kilogramme load capacity. The engineers achieve this enormous capacity with an elaborate forging process. Thereby, the aluminium is compressed in such a strong way that any air inclusion is forced out of the material. This process does not only allow maximum rigidity, but also saves up to 40 percent weight compared to other wheels in similar dimensions. Therefore, the unsprung masses are reduced and that leads to a more agile road behaviour.</p>
<p>In addition, the automobile manufacturer from Merzig/Germany offers the wheel 1/5 Evo UL for the Mercedes-Benz GL-class, ML-class, R-class and for the premium segments S-class and CL-class.</p>
